teca-invest (teca - span. for teak)

teca-invest is a product which also offers security, as well as an exceptional rate of return, while connecting and harmonizing an economic and ecological relationship. It is a one-hectare (10,000 square meters) teak plantation, on which 1,111 teak trees are planted.

teca-invest is not a monoculture. Though only teak seedlings are planted in the beginning, the land will be replenished with various native species after the thinning to increase and maintain the biodiversity. The plantation will develop into an inhomogeneous cultivation, creating a diversified structure with natural resistance by which the danger of infestation is largely eliminated.

After 25 years all the teak trees have been harvested leaving a mixed forest on that area on which biodiversity steadily increases.

teca-light requires a minimum investment of 50 euros per month.
